(MNA) -- The talks are part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed during the visit of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to France and is regularly held every six months in Tehran and Paris alternatively.
The fourth round, due to be held today on December 20, will be chaired by Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs and Mr. Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, Secretary-General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
These dialogues mark a mechanism within which the two countries will develop bilateral relations in various political, economic and cultural sectors.
Discussions on regional and international issues, especially developments in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, are also on the agenda of the upcoming round of talks.
During his two-day visit to Paris, Deputy FM Araghchi will also hold separate meetings with a number of French officials and is slated to deliver a speech at the French Institute for International Relations.
