Commander of operations has said that Al-Intisar neighborhood in Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, has been liberated from ISIS terrorist forces by the Iraqi Federal Police.

Commander of operations, Major General Abdel Amir Yarallah, has announced in a brief statement that the al-Intisar neighborhood in Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, has been liberated from ISIS terrorist forces by the Iraqi Federal Police; Al-masdar News reported.

“Federal Police forces liberated al-Intisar neighohood in eastern Mosul, and raised Iraqi flag over its buildings,” Yarallah said. “The security forces inflicted heavy material and human losses on the enemy.”

This follows on from the liberation of Karama neighborhood earlier on Monday.
