The media team said in a press statement, “Al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces managed to liberate Southern Shari’a village in the western axis of the battle to liberate Mosul from the ISIS group’s control.”
“The Shia security forces also tightened their grip on Northern Shari’a village, in preparation for its liberation,” the statement added.
Last week, al-Hashd al-Shaabi Command announced liberating Tel Afar Airport, after launching the battle to liberate the western axis of Mosul, Iraqi News reported.
