People fleeing fighting in Mosul and its surrounding areas continued to gather at Omer Qamchi in northern Iraq on Thursday, Al-Alam News Network reports.
Vehicles transporting internally displaced persons arrived at a makeshift camp, guarded by peshmerga Kurdish fighters.
An aid worker from the Free Burma Rangers, an organization of paramedics, was seen helping distribute supplies.
Iraqi Special Forces said on Thursday that they are temporarily pausing in their push into Mosul, held by the Islamic State (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL / IS) group, due to poor weather.
