The EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini was on a one-day visit to Iran.
Both sides discussed the implementation of the outcome of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 countries to resolve a dispute over Iran’s nuclear energy program and the lifting of all sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
During the visit, Iran and the EU agreed to start talks on how to confront regional crises such as terrorism.
