Militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) group, which Ankara considers terrorist, are suspected of organizing the attack.
An operation has been launched in the region to destroy the perpetrators. Tensions between Ankara and the PKK escalated in July 2015 when a ceasefire between the sides collapsed over a series of terror attacks allegedly committed by the PKK, which is outlawed in Turkey as a terrorist organization, Reuters reported.
