ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi is reportedly still in Mosul as it was was believed that he have fled the terror capital after an airstrike.

The death cult has covered the city with booby traps and is planning to use “tens of thousands” of innocent civilians as human shields.

Al Baghdadi is the second most wanted man in the world after Al Qaida leader Ayman Al Zawahiri and has a $10million bounty on his head.

Explosives expert Fawzi Ali Nouimeh is also thought to be in the city stoking fears the city will be laced with homemade bombs.

Iraqi Jpint Forces have cleared 20 villages as come within 30 miles of Mosul.

ISIS is reportedly forcing residents into buildings it expects the RAF and US Air Force to target with air strikes to maximise human casualties.

And the terrorist have a stock of WW1 chemical weapons to unleash on their attackers, reports indicate.

Abu Mahir, who lives near the city's university, said: "It's quite clear Daesh has started to use civilians as human shields by allowing families to stay in buildings likely to be targeted by air strikes.”

Expected 1.5 million people still live in Mosul and the International Organization for Migration said ISIS may use tens of thousands of residents as human shields.
