"After intensifying clashes with the terrorist groups in Dara'a province, the Syrian army sent a large number of government forces to the village of Khirbet Ghazaleh and its surrounding regions," military sources said, adding, "Tens of military vehicles were carrying the fresh government forces."
"In the meantime, the Syrian army soldiers have built up new positions along the highway between the town of Azra'a and Khirbet Ghazaleh," they added.
"A unit of the Syrian army stormed the bases of two terrorist groups in the Northwestern side of the old customs complex in Dara'a al-Balad, leaving several militants dead or wounded.
Terrorists' ammunition and arms also were destroyed in the attack," the sources went on to say.
The Syrian military forces also struck the positions of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) near Dara'a city on Sunday, destroying the group's road-building machinery there.
Syrian army troops carried out heavy attacks on Fatah al-Sham centers in al-Abbasiyeh districts, and in the Southwestern side of al-Roba'ei crossroad in Tariq al-Sa'ad in Dara'a al-Balad.
Fatah al-Sham suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks and its bulldozers sustained major damage in refugee camp.
Fatah al-Sham's artillery and machinegun-equipped vehicles also were destroyed in the army attacks.
