Led by the Mechanized Division and the Tiger Forces' "Shaheen Group," the Syrian Armed Forces managed to capture a number of villages and checkpoints in the northern Hama countryside today, marking their most successful assault in this region.

According to the local field correspondents, the Syrian Armed Forces captured the villages of Al-Shaatha, Al Junayneh, Al Qahira, and Al Tulaysiyeh after overrunning Jund AlAqsa's (Syrian Al Qaeda franchise) defenses.

In addition to the aforementioned villages, the Syrian Armed Forces also captured the Al Naqra, Al Khayma checkpoints, along with the Al Qahira Airfield.

Intense clashes are now taking place near the key village of Karah, as the Syrian Armed Forces continue their advance this morning.
