Palestinian people have burnt pictures of US President Barack Obama, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and Shimon Peres in Gaza Strip.

Pictures of Peres, Netanyahu and Obama were set ablaze after noon prayers in Gaza strip just hours after Peres funeral on Friday.

People who participated in the demonstration sprayed Israel's flag on the street with the Arabic sentence, "Death to Israel".

Resident of Gaza, Abu Moumen said, that they are against the participation of the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas in the funeral of Peres.

"We are against the participation of Palestine's delegation in the funeral of Peres because Peres is a killer of Gaza's children and he did made a lot of wars and massacres against our children and our people in Gaza Strip," Abu Moumen said.

The Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas has also censured Mahmoud Abbas for joining the funeral of former Israeli president Shimon Peres.

Many across the world would remember Peres as a "war criminal" especially in light of the 1996 Qana massacre. In that Israeli attack on a southern Lebanese village, at least 106 people were killed. Peres was then prime minister.

It should also be noted that under Peres’s tenure as president, two full-scale wars were launched against the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip, which killed more than 3,700 Palestinians in total.
