A chemical plant in east China caught fire on Tuesday, and nearly 100 firefighters along with 19 firefighting trucks were dispatched to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters went to a workshop of the chemical plant in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province after they received an emergency call and found the factory engulfed in dense, black smoke.
After more than seven hours spent tackling the blaze, they finally brought it under control.
Due to a large amount of flammable glue, and other flammable materials stored in the workshop, the fire spread quickly, covering 800 square meters.
Thanks to the timely evacuation of workers, the fire caused no injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
