VIDEO: Iraqi Army Cleans Key Region in Anbar and Salaheddine, Also Shirqat

The Iraqi Army launched a large-scale offensive and targeted the Islamic State's (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) last pockets in eastern Al-Anbar and the key villages of Al-Shirqat and Al-Heet.

This latest offensive start on Tuesday, as the Iraqi Armed Forces, led by Liwaa Salaheddine, liberated 7 villages from the Daesh terrorists near the key town of Al-Shirqat.

On Wednesday, the Iraqi Armed Forces overwhelmed the ISIS terrorists at the strategic island of Jazirat Al-Haditha, liberating it after a short battle.

With the liberation of Jazirat Al-Haditha this morning, the Iraqi Armed Forces will now turn their attention to Jazirat Al-Baghdadi and Al-Heet.
