Syrian government forces defended strongly their positions against Fatah al-Sham's heavy attacks and did not allow them to advance in the battlefields.
Fatah al-Sham left behind tens of dead or wounded members and pulled the remaining pockets of its forces back from the battlefield.
Sources announced earlier today that Israeli Armed Forces continued to target the Syrian government forces' strongholds near a village in the Southwestern province of Quneitra.
"Israeli fighter jets bombed a base of the Golan regiment of Syrian soldiers near the village of al-Samdaniyeh al-Sharghiyeh, leaving a soldier dead and five more wounded," a source said, while other field sources reported that it was the "Israeli army's artillery units that opened fire at the base".
"Israeli artillery used 155mm canons in shelling Syrian army's positions, leaving one soldier dead and eight more wounded," the latter sources added, FNA reported.
