Four more housing complexes in Aleppo city's al-Amariyeh district came under the Syrian army's control after killing several terrorists and destroying their military hardware.
Meantime, the Syrian air force pounded the terrorists' military positions in the town of Haryatan in the Northern countryside of Aleppo city and Khan Touman warehouses Southwest of the city.
Several armored and machinegun-equipped military vehicles of the terrorists were destroyed the Syrian army offensives.
Meantime, the Russian warplanes launched airstrikes around the city and destroyed the military bases and arms depots of the terrorists in Aleppo countryside.
Earlier on Saturday, the Syrian army and the resistance forces preempted terrorists' imminent operations to take control of a logistic route in Northern Aleppo, and forced them to withdraw from their military positions on a road linking Castillo to al-Fallah Farms.
A battlefield source told the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper that the Syrian army in a preemptive military operation on Friday managed to push back the terrorists of Aleppo Operations Room near Castello and al-Mallah Farms in Northern Aleppo.
"The terrorists intended to take control of Aleppo supply route, but they faced the army's preemptive move and failed to even get close to this path," the source said.
In relevant developments in the province on Thursday, the Syrian army units launched a preemptive strike on the terrorists near Castello road in the Northern areas of Aleppo foiling their plots to attack the region's supply route.
The source said that the army's artillery units attacked the terrorists' gathering centers near Castello and Mallah farms in Zahra Abdo Rabbah, Kafr Hamra and Haraytan which killed and wounded dozens of militants.
Also, the Syrian air force attacked the terrorists' supply route in Northern Aleppo towards Hayyan and Adnan as well as the supply roads in Western Aleppo towards the North and smashed the terrorists' convoys in al-Aratab, Urom Kobra and Ma'ara al-Artiq which thwarted the terrorists' plots and forced many of them flee towards the Turkish borders.
Informed media sources disclosed on Wednesday that the Syrian army has continued its advances in the Southern part of Aleppo, and regained control over several strategic areas in the town of Khan Touman.
"A number of key warehouses of Khan Touman are now under the Syrian army's control," the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed informed source as saying.
The source noted that the Syrian air force and army's artillery units also targeted the gathering centers and fortifications of the terrorists in Khan Touman; FNA reported.
