VIDEO: Syrian Army Prepares to Capture Strategic Town of Ibta in Daraa Province

The Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Armored Division is preparing to launch a large-scale assault to capture the key town of ‘Ibta in central Daraa.

This upcoming offensive follows the Syrian Arab Army’s latest success in central Daraa, which includes the capture of the Ibta Military Base.

According to a military source in the Daraa Governorate, the Syrian Armed Forces are only 3 km away from Ibta after seizing the nearby military base, which is located at its eastern flank.

The Syrian News Agency (SANA) filmed from the recently captured military base on Tuesday, showing the town of Ibta in the background.
