300 Rebels Exited Key Town of Moadhimiyah in West Damascus

300 rebels in Moadhimiyah are Exited the city as the end of final stages of negotiating to complete surrender of this key town in the West Ghouta region of Damascus, putting an end to their four year reign.

According to a military source in Damascus, a government delegation arrived in Mo’adhimiyah on Friday morning after both parties failed to reach a settlement regarding the fate of the town yesterday.

The military source added that the rebels are refusing to turn in their heavy weaponry before surrendering the entire town to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

According to agreement government take full control of Mo’adhimiyah in exchange for transporting the rebels to the Idlib Governorate.

Mo’adhimiyah was originally under a ceasefire agreement prior to this week’s intense negotiation process between the government and opposition delegations.
