4 people were killed and 14 others injured on Friday in an explosion of a rocket cache in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad as as Pilgrims converge on shrine.

4 people died and at least a dozen were wounded by the rockets launched by the blast at the weapons facility in eastern Baghdad.

The blast occurred in the morning after a weapon storage hit by bomb in al-Obeidi neighborhood, a stronghold of Shiite militant groups in eastern Baghdad near Sadr City.

These weapons are used by Shiite militias in the battles against the extremist Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) militant group, the source added.
