Heavy Russian airstrikes targeted the Jaish Al Fath stronghold of Darret Izza in the western countryside of Aleppo. This town serves as a major supply hub from Idlib and the Turkish border to the frontlines of Aleppo.
Footage emerged of such bombings which rebel sources claim were targeting a local hospital. However, a rebel leader by the name of Hussein Aboud Al-Khalaf- dubbed Abi Al Walid Boqrus- along with numerous other terrorists were killed in the aforementioned airstrikes which raises doubt against the rebel claim.
