Iraqi forces have discovered a mass grave in a school containing the skeletal remains of 25 ISIS victims in war-torn Fallujah.
A mass grave containing the skeletal remains of 25 ISIS victims has been discovered in a school in war-torn Fallujah.
The bones were uncovered by Iraqi security forces as they searched buildings in the city, which was recaptured from ISIS control after brutal fighting earlier this summer.
According to sources, all of the remains show traces of gunfire amid fears they were all executed by extremists.
Work is underway to identify the dead, according to Iraqi News which said the finding was revealed by Anbar Provincial Council.
A member of the council's security committee said: 'Security forces found a mass grave inside the teachers’ institute building in the centre of Fallujah; Dailymail reported.
