Top ISIS Leader Killed by Afghan Forces in Nangarhar Province

Afghan security forces killed ISIS leader for the Eastern Nangarhar province.

According to a spokesman for the local governor, cited by the TOLO news broadcaster, Saeed Emarati, the top ISIS leader, was recently appointed as the terrorist group's local commander.

Afghan forces have managed to kill and wound 50 militants from the Taliban and the ISIS in Nangarhar province a few days ago.

TOLO news broadcaster reported, citing local authorities, that the series of air and ground force operations took place last Wednesday night which claimed the lives of scores of militants, FNA reported.
