The army launched an offensive against the al Nusra Front's gathering centers in the road linking Zara and Hor Benafsa towns on Saturday, killing a number of terrorists, including two of their commanders.
After the attack, the Syrian air force targeted Jund al-Aqsa's base in Murak town in Northern Hama which killed and wounded tens of terrorists.
According to the field sources, the fighter jets' airstrikes completely destroyed the terrorists' headquarters in Murak.
Also on Friday, the Syrian military forces struck ISIL's gatherings in at least five villages in Eastern Hama, leaving several militants dead and destroying their military hardware in large scale.
The Syrian soldiers targeted ISIL's positions near the villages of Quleib al-Thawr, Abu Hbeilat, Tabaret al-Deibeh and al-Hamra and in the surroundings of al-Mofaker and East of Abu Hanaya, which destroyed a number of their military vehicles, including those with machineguns. ISIL's death toll was also heavy; FNA reported.
