Armed with heavy weapons, Yemeni tribesmen have joined forces in Sanaa to show their willingness to fight against Saudi-led coalition.
The men want to show the world that they are prepared to fight alongside the Houthi militias.
One tribal chief, Ziyad Al-Rafiq says they are against the Saudi aggression and “will support the militias with money and men.”
The Houthis and allied troops loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh are fighting against Yemen's fugitive former President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
The Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, in September 2014, forcing Hadi to flee.
In March 2015, a Saudi-led coalition, comprised of mostly Arab countries, launched a military campaign against the Houthis and Yemeni people.
More than 9,000 people have been killed in Yemen's civil war, including more than 3,000 civilians, according to the United Nations. The fighting has also displaced 2.4 million people.
The war has pushed the Arab world's poorest country to the brink of famine. It also created a vacuum that enabled both Yemen's al-Qaida branch and an upstart Islamic State (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL) affiliate to seize territory and carry out large-scale attacks.
