Five vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, and a position of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists were destroyed in the Syrian army airstrikes South of Palmyra and in the surroundings of Mehasa village in Homs.
According to a field source, tens of terrorists, including those inside the vehicles, were killed and injured in the airstrikes.
Also, the Syrian army units in cooperation with the National Defense Forces (NDF) attacked the gathering centers of the ISIS near al-Sha'er oil field in the Eastern parts of Homs which destroyed a tank and three vehicles equipped with machineguns.
Earlier this week in Homs, the Syrian army aircrafts struck ISIL's concentration centers in al-Sha'er oilfield, inflicting a heavy death toll on the militants, battlefield sources said.
"At least 12 militants were killed and several more were wounded in the Syrian air attack on the ISIL's gatherings in al-Sha'er energy-rich region," the sources said, adding, "In the meantime, the Syrian jets targeted again ISIL's defense lines near the village of Howeisis in Jubb al-Jarrah, which ended in destruction of their military equipment, weapons and ammunition," FNA reported.
