Russia’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has visited Syria where he met with President Bashar Assad to discussed military cooperation and fight against terrorism.
President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday received Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu who, commissioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin, has paid a work visit to Syria.
Talks during the meeting focused on military cooperation between the two countries and the joint work to combat terrorist organizations on the Syrian territories; SANA reported.
