According to the Syrian Air Force command, top ISIS commander (emir) of Tabaqa Military Airport has been killed along with several other terrorists.
The Syrian Arab Air Force, alongside their counterparts from the Russian Air Force, have been lighting up the western Raqqa countryside with non-stop airstrikes for the last two weeks as their ground units attempt to advance towards the strategic Tabqa Airport.
On Wednesday, the Syrian Air Force struck a command-and-control center that belonged to the ISIS terrorist group near the Tabqa Military Airport, killing several combatants from the aforementioned terrorist group in the process.
According to the Syrian Air Force command, the airstrike killed the top ISIS emir (commander) of the Tabqa Military Airport.
ISIS emir of the Tabqa Military Airport was identified as the Syrian national, Ahmad Kafrouma; ABNA reported.
