Trevor Joyce, 36, attacked and killed father-of-two Justin Skrebowski, 61, inside Poundland last year.
Horrific footage has now emerged of schizophrenic Joyce charging around the busy town threatening locals after the killing in the discount shop in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in December.
The shocking clip shows Joyce shouting and swearing as he walks through the streets and threatens people - including an elderly man with a walking stick and a woman with a pram.
The footage was captured just moments after the killer had plunged a large kitchen knife into Mr Skrebowski’s buttock so deeply it severed a major artery.
Joyce was charged with murder but admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and was sentenced to life imprisonment earlier this week.
In the clip Joyce is seen lunging aggressively towards an elderly man sitting on a bench, brandishing what appears to be a knife and a carving fork, shouting “f***” repeatedly.
Joyce was also captured walking past a mother with a pram, turning towards her and shouting what sounds like: “I’ll make sure that you regret. I’ll stab that kid. I’ll make sure that you regret keeping me away.”
The shocking footage was captured by an eye-witness who pursued drug addict Joyce from behind before he was restrained by police with a Taser.
The killer threw his weapons up in the air before he was taken to the ground by officers.
The jury at the Old Bailey heard Joyce had abused crack cocaine, heroine, alcohol, and synthetic cannabis for years.
He had also suffered mental health problems for years and had been sectioned for a month last June as his behaviour become increasingly erratic.
Joyce, from Abington, was re-admitted to hospital in October 2015 after hearing voices but was discharged a week later against the wishes of the doctor treating him, Express reported.
