Syrian Army units have established control over new areas in the western countryside of Raqqa, targeting the last ISIS gatherings in the area and destroying tens of its vehicles.
Army units established control over new areas in the western countryside of Raqqa after eliminating the last ISIS gatherings in the area and destroying tens of its vehicles, according to a military source.
The source added that army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over al-Rasafa crossroads, the strategic triangle, the oil pumping station and al-Tabka electricity station.
The source pointed out that the army units have developed their operations on more than one axis in the area and cut off ISIS supply routes after destroying tens of heavy-equipped vehicles and killing large numbers of ISIS members; SANA reported.
