The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in cooperation with the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) continued their advances against the ISIS (Daesh / ISIL) terrorists in Eastern Aleppo and cut off the terrorists' supply lines in Manbij-Aleppo road.
Local sources announced on Thursday that the Kurdish-led forces have taken full control over Manbij-Aleppo road in the Eastern parts of Aleppo province.
A senior member of Manbij city council promised the residents imminent victory against the terrorists.
Ibrahim al-Banawi said that anti-ISIS operations still continue and the Kurdish forces stationed near Tishreen dam are merely 3km away from Manbij.
The Kurdish fighter on Wednesday seized back the village of Mushifra which is only six kilometers from Manbij.
Scores of ISIS militants were killed or wounded in heavy clashes with the SDF. Meantime, the local sources announced that the ISIS has transferred its prisoners to the town of al-Bab in Eastern Aleppo from Manbij.
Also yesterday, the sources announced that the ISIS Takfiri terrorists were fleeing Manbij as the SDF were very close to the town.
"The ISIS terrorists are escaping toward al-Bab with their heavy military equipment as the clashes will be spread to inside Manbij town in less than 24 hours," local sources told FNA.
