The U.S. military reportedly carried out a drone strike along the Raqqa-Hazemah Road in northern Raqqa on Friday that killed the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) top emir, Faisal Al-Balo.
The aforementioned terrorist is believed to be the top ISIS emir in the northern Raqqa region of the “caliphate.” No further details were released; furthermore, the terrorist group has yet to confirm this news, Al-Masdar reports.
