The Iraqi Ministry of Defense has released footage showing Iraqi aircraft bombing various Islamic State group (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL) targets in Iraq's northern and western districts, according to the statement attached to the video.
The statement released on Thursday said: “The Iraqi fighter jets were able to deal heavy and effective air strikes at Daesh [ISIS / ISIL] targets in Anbar and Salahuddin west and north of Baghdad inflicting upon them heavy losses in men and equipment.”
The Iraqi forces said they had completely liberated Rutba, one of the districts in Anbar, AP reported.
