The Airbase bears exceptional importance due to its huge operational capacity and the strategic location in central Syria.
Having lost two strongholds in Palmyra and al-Qaryatayn, The terror group is on a landslide offensive against government forces in the gas-rich area of Shaer and the Tiyas airbase; abna24 reported.
