GVs Trafford Centre Police in Greater Manchester have joined forces with other agencies to carry out a simulated terror attack to test the emergency response to a major terrorist incident.
This multi-agency exercise aims to test and evaluate the emergency services response to a major terrorist incident and has been in the planning since December 2015.
Taking place over three days, the exercise will begin at midnight on Monday 9 May 2016 at intu Trafford Centre and will involve the emergency services, including Merseyside Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service, Reuters reported.
