"Two military vehicles and a bomb-making workshop where different IEDs, missiles and mortars were produced were destroyed in the army attack," a battlefield source said on today.
Meantime, the Syrian army advanced in Abbsiya district of Dara'a al-Balad region and destroyed the al-Nusra Front's gathering centers and bomb-making workshops.
The Al-Nusra Front's gathering centers in Tal Khalif and Tal Sheikh Hossein in Northeastern Dara'a were also destroyed in the army units' attacks.
In a relevant development on Wednesday, military positions, artillery units and a command center of al-Nusra Front and its affiliated groups in the Southern districts of Dara'a city came under attack by the Syrian military forces, reports from Southern Syria said Wednesday, adding that several militants, including a senior field commander, were killed in the attacks.
The Syrian soldiers hit the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front's command center, strongholds and artillery units in Sweidan bazaar, and the neighborhoods of al-Sibeh, old customs house and al-Karak in the Southern and Eastern sides of al-Manshiyeh in Dara'a al-Balad, which claimed the lives of several terrorists, including the commander of Liwa Towhid al-Janoub, and destroyed their military hardware in large scale.
Earlier reports said today that the Syrian Army troops and National Defense Forces targeted the gathering centers and positions of al-Nusra Front near a key city in the Northern part of Dara'a province and forced the terrorists to pull forces back from the surrounding farms of the city.
The Syrian government forces' offensives against positions of al-Nusra Front near the strategic city of Kafr Shams ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists and forced the remaining pockets of the militants to retreat from the farms in the Northeastern side of the city, FNA reported.
