The Syrian fighter jets destroyed a major part of a long convoy of ISIL military and logistic vehicles in Homs province, battlefield sources said.

"The Syrian air fleet, in the meantime, targeted the ISIL gatherings and positions near al-Shaer oilfield, which ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists," FNA reports.

In relevant developments in the province on Friday, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their advances in the Northern part of al-Sha'er gas field by capturing four new areas.

The seizing back of the new areas comes just one day after other army units and popular forces took full control of Oil Well 102 in al-Shaer region.

Score of Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in heavy clashes with the Syrian army near al-Sha'er gas field on Friday.
