The Syrian soldiers ambushed the ISIS convoy of military vehicles on Ithriya-Khanasser road and confiscated the entire cargo.

Several guards of the convoy were also killed or wounded in the ambush.

Three of the ISIS vehicles were fully loaded with different kinds of ammunition and weapons.

Military sources said on Friday that the Syrian army and its allies engaged in heavy fighting with the terrorists in the Northern part of Hama province.

Sources said that one of the notorious field commanders of the al-Nusra Front terrorist group in Hama battlefields was killed in heavy fighting with the Syrian Army troops.

"A senior commander of al-Nusra in Atshan region, nicknamed Abu Moussa, was killed in the Syrian Army's operation in the Northern part of Hama province," sources said, reported by FNA.
