Iranian FM Zarif Due in Turkey on Saturday over Mideast Talks

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to pay a visit to Turkey on Saturday to review the regional developments and issues of mutual interest, according to Turkish Foreign Ministry.

In a statement released on Friday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that during his stay in Turkey, Zarif will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and the country’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

He will confer with Turkish officials on the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.

The Turkish prime minister recently paid a visit to Tehran at the head of a top-ranking delegation including five cabinet ministers and 160 businessmen, IRNA reported.
