The Syrian army backed by the country's air force destroyed terrorists' positions and inflicted heavy casualties on different militant groups in several provinces.
The army hit the militants' positions in Homs, Lattakia, Raqqa, Aleppo and Damascus over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and many more were wounded in the Syrian army's military operations across Syria on Saturday.

Homs

Syrian air force, in incessant operations, delivered heavy blows to the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, reducing their bases to rubble around and in the two key cities of Palmyra and Quaryatayn in Homs province.

The Syrian warplanes severely pounded ISIL hideouts and center points in Quaryatayn and Palmyra (Tadmur) and their nearby areas, destroying their structures and fortifications.

The Syrian army air force also destroyed ISIL positions in its aerial operations over the town of Mahasa, South of Quaryatayn.

Military sources on the ground reported that the Syria warplanes have started blitzkrieg on ISIL positions near the city of Palmyra since early Saturday, inflicting heavy damage and casualties on the terrorists in the region.

Hasaka

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) thwarted the ISIL terrorists' attempts to target the Kurdish fighters' positions in the Southwestern part of Hasaka.

The ISIL suicide-belt attackers were identified and targeted by the Kurdish fighter before they could reach to the SDF strongholds near Abdulaziz mount in the Northeastern province of Hasaka.

A report said on Wednesday that the Kurdish forces took full control of Um al-Modafe village in Hasaka province after fierce clashes with the ISIL.

Scores of Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in the clashes with the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) and SDF forces.

Lattakia

The terrorist groups continued to withdraw forces from more positions in the Northeastern part of the costal province of Lattakia near the border with Idlib province after a large-scale offensive of the Syrian Army and allies in the region.

The Syrian government forces stormed the militant strongholds in the Mount 1154 near Kabani and seized full control over the mount in a rapid battle with the terrorists.

The Syrian army and its popular allies have launched massive operations Northeast of Lattakia bordering the Southern part of Idlib province to wipe out the last positions of the terrorist groups in the coastal province.

"The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces have stormed the Takfiri terrorist groups fortified positions near the small but strategic town of Kabani," the sources said, adding, "The Syrian government forces preferred to hit the militant groups' line of defense from the overlooking heights of Jabal al-Zweiqat in the Southern side of Kabani."

"The militant groups' strongholds, mainly those of al-Nusra Front in the Southern side of Kabani, have been heavily bombed in the recent days by the Syrian and Russian fighter jets to weaken their defense abilities," the sources added.

Raqqa

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) fended off the ISIL terrorists' car bomb attacks on one of the main dams of the country West of Raqqa province.

The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and at least six of its bomb-laden cars were destroyed after their attempts to hit the Kurdish positions near Tishrin dam were thwarted by the SDF and YPG.

The explosive-laden cars were destroyed before reaching to the Kurdish strongholds.

Explosion of the explosive-laden cars set the other vehicles of the ISIL ablaze, which ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists.

Aleppo

Anti-terrorism operation of the Syrian Army and its allies in the Southeastern part of Aleppo province inflicted major losses on the ISIL terrorists and pushed them back from more key hills and villages in the region.

The Syrian government forces stormed the ISIL Takfiri terrorists' concentration centers near the strategic hills of Shobeib, forced them to retreat and imposed full control over the mentioned hills and its nearby villages.

The army attacks claimed the lives of several terrorists and destroyed their military equipment.

Damascus

The Syrian Army and popular forces have taken back more farms and villages from the militant groups in Eastern Ghouta enabling them to take yet another major stride in completing a circle of forces around the terrorists East of the capital, military sources said Saturday.

"The Syrian army backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) imposed full control over the small village of Hawash al-Mutayn and the Ali al-Aghawani Farms after a violent battle with al-Nusra Front," the sources said.

Hama

The Syrian air force jets, in a series of intensive attacks, pounded the ISIL militants' positions in Hama province's Eastern regions, eliminating nearly two dozen terrorists and injuring many more, a military source said on Saturday.

"At Least 20 members of ISIL group were eliminated when the Syrian fighter jets pounded the military positions and gathering centers of the terrorist organization in several towns and villages in Eastern Hama including Uqairibat, Abu Dali, Soha, Jana al-Bawi, al-Qastal al-Westani, and Jub al-Rihan, which also resulted in the destruction of ISIL military equipment and transportation vehicles there," battlefield source said.
