In a relevant development earlier today, the Syrian army regained control of two more strategic villages in the Eastern part of Aleppo province.

The army units took full control of the villages of Zaalaneh and Um Tarakiya in Eastern Aleppo near the thermal power station.

Also today, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) hit heavily the ISIL centers near Tal Arbash in the Eastern part of Aleppo province and in the surroundings of the villages of al-Qaroutiyeh, al-Zaalaneh and Treidem in the Northern site of the city of al-Safirah, which claimed the lives of tens of the terrorists.

The town of Qabasin in the Northern side of the city of al-Bab North of Aleppo province witnessed the heavy attacks of the Syrian army and the NDF on the ISIL gatherings, which also left several terrorists dead or wounded and destroyed their military vehicles.

Concentration of Takfiri terrorists in the villages of al-Halak, al-Shqeif, Maarat al-Artiq and Yaqed al-Adas in the Northern and Northwestern parts of Aleppo province were stormed by the Syrian government force.

In the meantime, the army struck the militants' centers in al-Barqoum village in the Southwestern part of Aleppo province, which ended in the killing and wounding of many terrorists.

On Friday, the Syrian army troops and popular forces scored more victories against the militant groups in the Northern part of Aleppo province and seized back one more key village.

The Syrian army troops and the National Defense Forces engaged in heavy fighting with the militant groups in Hraytan region and retook full control over the village of Jubb Ghabsheh, FNA reported.
