Iraqi forces make gains on so-called “Islamic State”( ISIS / ISIL or Daesh) terrorist Group and targets terrorist in Ramadi, the capital of mainly Sunni-Muslim Anbar province in the Euphrates River valley west of the capital.
Iraqi troops in their advancement in east of Husaiba Neighborhood push backs ISIS terrorists.
Commander of Iraqi Rapid Deployment Brigade, Brigadier General Mahdi Abass told Reuters: “Our troops advanced toward the enemy's positions to strike hideouts of the “Islamic State” terrorist group. They made a successful advance and fully destroyed hideouts of the terrorists."
ISIL Loses Scores of Terrorist in Iraqi Army Attack in Baghdad
On Sunday the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group sustained large casualties in Iraqi Army ambush operation West of the capital, Baghdad.
Informed sources said that during the surprise operation, the Iraqi security forces killed a sum of, at least, 48 ISIL terrorists, FNA reported.
The Iraqi forces managed to identify the terrorists and attacked their hideout in a western district of the Iraqi capital, they said, adding that a sizeable amount of ammunition, including landmines, was seized from the terrorist during the operation.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
