Iraqi Security Forces Evacuate 34 Civilians Besieged by ISIS in Ramadi

Iraqi security forces have evacuated 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by ISIS north of Ramadi, a security source in Anbar Province announced on Saturday.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces managed to evacuate 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by ISIS in the Modern Village area north of Ramadi.”

The source added, “The security forces transferred the evacuated civilians to al-Wafaa area (35 km west of Ramadi).”
