Special representative of the Russian President, Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov and Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad on Monday met and called for resumption of inter-Syrian negotiations.
A statement by Russian Foreign Ministry said that they exchanged ideas on the political solution to the crisis in Syria.
“Both sides stressed expedited resumption of Syrian-Syrian negotiations based on 30 June 2012 agreement and UNSC Resolution No. 2254 without any precondition,” read the statement, IRNA reported.
