Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Sunday that Iran never lets the Saudi adventurism leave impacts on Syrian peace process.
Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with visiting UN Special Envoy to Syrian Staffan de Mistura.
The trouble created by Saudi leaders will stir outflux of Syrian and Yemeni migrants to Europe, he said.
Zarif said that the Saudi leaders opted for escalation with Iran to influence the Syrian peace process, but, Iran will thwart such an attempt.
The Saudi government attacked Iran's embassy in Sana'a and injured an embassy guard, Zarif said, adding that Iran maintains security of the embassies and is quite responsible about the diplomatic immunity.
The UN special envoy to Syria, for his part gave a report on his efforts on implementing recommendations of Vienna Conference on peace talks between the Syrian government and the opposition.
Since the opposition included various social, political, ethnical and religious groups in different provinces, adopting a comprehensive strategy is on the agenda and Iranian good offices to help resolve the Syrian crisis is of prime importance, the envoy said; IRNA reported.
