The Syrian army destroyed positions, vehicles and mortar launchers of the al-Nusra Front and other militants groups in the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Lutfi, Bani Zeid, Karam al-Tarab and Sheikh Khedr, al-Ashrafiya, al-Sakhour and al-Zebdiya in Aleppo city.
The army also destroyed ISIS positions in the villages of Nejjarah and Tal Hatabat in the Eastern part of Aleppo province.
The troops also targeted militants' supply route from Turkey in Tal Msaibeen village in Aleppo province and destroyed a group of vehicles.
The army also fired artillery shells at militants' positions in the village of al-Alqamiya and in the vicinity of al-Malkiya village in the Northern part of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the Syrian airstrikes hit ISIS strongholds in al-Bab city in the Eastern part of Aleppo.
On Sunday, the Syrian fighter jets intensified their air attacks on ISIS strongholds in a strategic village near the recently- captured Kuweires airbase in the Eastern part of Aleppo province.
The Syrian airstrikes hit ISIS positions and movements in the village of Nejjarah, 13 km East of Kuweires airbase on Sunday.
The air raids destroyed ISIS positions with all weapons and ammunition inside them as well as terrorists' machine gun-equipped vehicles which were loaded with weapons and ammunition.
Reports also said unspecified number of militants were killed in the air raids.
Also on Sunday, the Syrian army destroyed the ISIS's command headquarters in the strategic village of Tal Hatabat in the Eastern part of Aleppo city.
Tens of ISIS militants were killed in the army's attacks on their military positions in Tal Hatabat village.
Meantime, the Syrian troops razed down the ammunition depot of the terrorists in Matar al-Nairab region in the Eastern part of the Aleppo Airport.
The Syrian army also cut the supply route of the militants in the town of Khanasser Southeast of Aleppo province.
The army units also hit the terrorists' positions in al-Lairmoun, Jami'at al-Zahra and the village of al-Mansoura to the West of Aleppo city.
Meantime, the Syrian forces destroyed the military positions and gathering centers of the Takfiri terrorists in Salahuddin, Al-Rashidin4 and Bani Zaid.
In November, the Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah forces, backed up by Syrian and Russian air force, lifted the two and a half-year-long siege of Kuweires military airbase after killing hundreds of ISIS terrorists; FNA reported.
