Violent clashes have erupted between ISIS militants and the residents of Fallujah in the city, a security source in Anbar province said on Wednesday.
The source said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The residents of Fallujah have shown great displeasure due to the siege imposed by the ISIS on the city,” noting that, “[They] demanded the ISIS to allow them to get out of the city, but the terrorists had refused.”
“This dispute led to the outbreak of armed clashes between the gathering of the people on the one hand and the ISIS militants on the other hand,” the source also added.
