150 Yazidi Families Come Back to Sinjar: Source

More than 150 Yazidi families have returned to their areas in Sinjar. Meanwhile, the authorities are ready to provide the basic services for them to be able to continue their lives, a local source in Sinjar District said.

Dakheel Hassan, one of the Yazidi leaders said, “More than 150 families from the residents of Khansour areas in the district of Sinjar began to return to their areas,” noting that, “The areas were secured after Kurdistan forces had liberated them.”

Hasan added, “The decision to return to [their areas] was coordinated with the government authorities,” calling the concerned authorities, “To provide the basic services that will encourage the displaced to return to their homes,” IraqiNews reported.
