The Syrian Army has staged a whole array of major military operations all across Syria over the past twenty-four hours, in which dozens of Daesh and al-Nusra Front militants were killed and many more wounded, according to the Iranian news agency FNA.
In particular, the militants' strongholds were razed in the key provinces of Hama, Homs, Damascus, Aleppo, Idlib and Daraa.
In Hama, Syrian warplanes, supported by Russian airstrikes, pounded Daesh positions in the key village of Qteisheh near Al-Salamiyah. The terrorists reportedly suffered heavy casualties in these air raids.
In the central province of Homs, scores of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed after Syrian jets bombed the militants' fortified positions in the village of Ter Maela and the town of Talbiseh to the north of the city of Homs along the Damascus-Aleppo Highway.
Heavy clashes between the Syrian forces and the militants took place in Damascus Countryside , where the army and the National Defense Forces stormed militant groups' strongholds along one of their main supply routes in the east of the province. Syrian troops finally managed to take full control over the road, according to sources.

Heavy clashes between the Syrian forces and the militants took place in Damascus Countryside
In the northern province of Aleppo, at least 12 Takfiri militants were killed in the fighting on Wednesday, when the army targeted the terrorists' positions in Rasm al-Sahrij and Abad in the province's southwestern countryside. Additionally, the army destroyed al-Nusra Front terrorists' positions in the city of Aleppo; the fighting took place in several neighborhoods there, including al-Sheikh Lutfi, Hanano, Karm al-Tahhan and al-Jazmati.

In Idlib, a series of airstrikes was launched by Syrian fighter jets which targeted the militants' strongholds in the southeast of the province. Another major offensive was staged in the southern city of Daraa, where the Syrian forces inflicted heavy losses on Daesh terrorists, destroying their positions in the Aba Zaid and al-Manshia neighborhoods.
Adding to the Syrian army's anti-Daesh effort is Russia's air campaign, which was launched on September 30, when more than fifty Russian warplanes, including Su-24M, Su-25 and Su-34 warplanes, commenced precision airstrikes on Daesh targets in Syria at the behest of President Bashar Assad, sputniknews reports.
