German Chancellor Angela Merkel Person of the Year

Trump was not happy with Time on Wednesday and attacked their decision to name German Chancellor Angela Merkel Person of the Year.

Trump was less than thrilled with Time however on Wednesday when he learned he was not named their Person of the Year.

He wrote on Twitter; 'I told you @TIME Magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the big favorite They picked person who is ruining Germany.'

That person, Chancellor Angela Merkel, is someone who has been widely lauded for allowing Syrian refugees into her country.

Trump meanwhile made international headlines Monday when he said that he would ban all Muslims from entering the United States if elected president.

It is unfortunate for Trump he stood after ISIS head. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, described by Time as a “brooding muezzin of death”, was second on the list.
