Warships of the Russian Northern Fleet have fired turret guns during practice.
Since the beginning of 2015, the Russian Northern Fleet has carried out 157 of such firing exercises, 50 percent more against the previous year.
The firing was carried out as part of scheduled drills and a snap combat readiness check in the Northern Fleet. They were aimed to enhance the professional skills of all units of the Fleet; sputnik News reported.
