According to Syrian army statement, a large number of terrorist have been killed in the suburbs of Homs, near Qaryateen city.
According to latest reports the ISIL terrorists are now trapped in Quaryatayn city in the Central Homs province after the Syrian Army and the Syrian National Defense Forces (NDF) tightened noose on their positions from all directions, military sources said Tuesday.
The sources said that the pro-government forces have further advanced into the heart of the Quaryatayn countryside, and have captured a collection of farms on the Western side of the city after engaging the ISIL in a series of violent firefights that ended in the terrorist group’s withdrawal from several battlefields, FNA reports.

The footage also shows Syrian army forces clashing with terrorist groups in the forests near Latakia.
The monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, also reported the clashes between Syrian army forces and terrorist groups near Latakia.
The video emerges as the governor of Syria's Homs said on Tuesday (December 1) that local authorities had agreed on a deal which would see opposition armed groups leave an insurgent-held area of Homs city, a statement from his office said.
Sources told Reuters earlier on Tuesday that Syrian and United Nations officials had been meeting in Homs, a major battleground on Syria's north-south highway, to try to finalize a peace deal following a ceasefire in the Waer district of Homs.
Waer was the last insurgent-held area of the city.
The Syrian army and allied popular forces launched a major ground offensive north of Homs city after Russia, main ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, started carrying out air strikes against terrorists two months ago.
