The Yemeni forces have used advanced artilleries to attack the armored vehicles of Saudi-led coalition forces and so far they have killed tens of Sudanese Mercenaries and have destroyed 3 of their armored vehicles in Taiz.

The Yemeni army and popular forces' artillery fire killed and wounded tens of Saudi-led Sudanese  in Taiz, destroying 3 of their armored vehicles some days after the African country sent a new batch of forces to Yemen, Abdolmona'm Salem al-Zaidi, one of Ansarullah movement's military commanders told FNA on Thursday.

A new batch of Sudanese ground troops arrived in Yemen’s port city of Aden Monday to boost its partnership in the Saudi-led aggression against its Arab neighbor after the UAE recalled its troops from Yemen.

In September, local sources revealed that the Saudi-led forces fighting against the Yemeni government had hired foreign mercenaries, specially Sudanese soldiers, after they were badly defeated in the Southern port of Aden.

"Soldiers of the Sudanese army along with their vehicles were seen moving in several areas across the Southern province of Aden," the Arabic-language Al-Manar TV quoted local sources as saying.

The sources reiterated that the move came after heavy losses were inflicted upon the Emirati forces operating in Yemen as part of the Saudi-led coalition.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 232 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 6,921 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
